Chic Boston Elopement at Dearly Studio
Ava and Joe's wedding day kicked off in true Boston style—complete with street cleaning, a towed car, and an unmistakable bright orange ticket. But Ava was undeterred, determined not to let anything dampen her spirits. So, with grace and humor, she made a quick detour to the towing company, retrieving her car while dressed in her stunning wedding gown.
From the start, it was clear that Ava and Joe wanted their wedding day to be anything but ordinary. Our first stop was Dearly Studios, a quirky and charming spot nestled in the upstairs portion of Bow Market in Somerville. With its soft velvet curtains and beautiful floral decor, it provided the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony. Surrounded by a few close family members and their beloved pup, they exchanged heartfelt vows and signed the papers that made them officially husband and wife.
After the ceremony, we ventured into the city, starting with a stroll through the Boston Public Garden. Ava, ever the trooper, even hiked up the iconic Acorn Street in heels. A quick stop at an ice cream truck brought an unexpected delight when Ava was gifted her ice cream for free (thank you Boston Frosty)!
Ava and Joe know how to celebrate in their own unique way, and they made sure their wedding was a true reflection of their personalities. Their day was filled with laughter, love, and spontaneous moments that made it unforgettable.
In a few weeks, we’ll continue the celebration with a laid-back cookout by the ocean on the Cape, where all of their family will gather once more to toast to this beautiful union.
