A Modern City Wedding at More Than Words Bookstore in Boston's South End
Corrie and Dylan wanted their wedding to reflect their love for each other and their favorite city, Boston. They envisioned a day that felt like an extension of their everyday life—a blend of intimate moments and urban adventures.
The morning started in a wonderfully relaxed way. Corrie enjoyed a leisurely breakfast of coffee and pastries from a local bakery while getting ready at the stunning Clarendon Square Bed and Breakfast. This charming brownstone, with its elegant windows and cozy atmosphere, was the perfect place to begin their day.
We strolled to a nearby park, bursting with colorful tulips, where Corrie and Dylan shared a heartfelt first look amidst the blooms. From there, we wandered around the city, soaking in the sights and sounds that make Boston so special. A stop at the Prudential Center and a quaint coffee shop added an unexpected surprise when a group of friendly local firemen insisted on buying their coffee.
The celebration continued at More Than Words Bookstore, a venue as meaningful as it is beautiful. This isn’t just any bookstore; it’s a nonprofit that empowers disenfranchised youth by providing employment and business skills, helping them take charge of their lives. The venue’s mission resonated deeply with Corrie and Dylan, who share a love for reading and a commitment to giving back. As a special touch, they gifted each guest a copy of one of their favorite books.
Dinner was a feast of flavors from their favorite Italian restaurant, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for their guests. The night continued with dancing to live music, filling the bookstore with joy and celebration.
