Underwood Estate and Chatham Beach Cape Cod Engagement Session
Oh, what a day we had! Cape Cod will forever hold a special place in my heart. From the ocean breeze to the boats gently swaying in the harbor, there’s truly nothing that compares to the magic of this beautiful place. Jacqueline and Matt's love is something extraordinary. Every summer, they retreat to Jacquie's parents' Cape house, spending sun-soaked days running along the beach, sinking into the sand, and scanning the horizon for that iconic Cape Cod shark.
For their session, they envisioned images that weren’t just photographs but pieces of art—photos that would capture the essence of their special place, not only for their guests as they prepare for their wedding next year but also that they could hang in their home. They craved something untraditional—photos full of motion, energy, and authenticity. And I had the absolute joy of bringing their vision to life.
We began at the stunning Underwood Estate, a private, waterfront property that hosts only a few weddings yearly. Exploring this breathtaking venue, we couldn’t help but get excited for the magical celebration that awaits us here in September of next year.
Afterward, we went to the nearby Chatham beach, where we ran through the sand, explored the dunes, and watched as the sun dipped below the horizon. The playfulness and deep connection between these two are heartwarming. After ten years of being together, it’s clear that they are each other's rock, a constant source of strength and joy.
To witness and capture that was an honor, and I can’t wait to return to this beautiful place to continue documenting their love story!
