Vibrant Food-Inspired Wedding with Colorful Florals at Pierce House in Lincoln, MA
When I asked Vanna what she was most looking forward to on her wedding day, she didn’t hesitate: eating! In the whirlwind of wedding celebrations, couples often get so caught up in the moment that they barely get a bite. But for Vanna and Will, prioritizing guest experience, delicious food, and genuine enjoyment was at the heart of their wedding vision. They wanted a day that felt authentic and effortless, with minimal posed portraits and an emphasis on the candid, natural moments that truly represented them.
The day began with an intimate start as Vanna and her bridesmaids stopped at Tatte Bakery. The iconic French style cafe felt like the perfect start to the day’s events, allowing Vanna a chance to relax over coffee with her closest friends before the ceremony, plus the oh-so-wonderful Tatte baristas gifted our bride with a latte!
The ceremony took place at the beautiful Saint Cecilia’s, where Vanna and Will exchanged their vows in a mixed faith ceremony surrounded by loved ones. Afterward, we made our way to the Pierce House in Lincoln, MA, where the evening was a true reflection of their personalities.
With a focus on creating an unforgettable experience, Vanna and Will arranged an extended cocktail hour featuring a pizza truck and fresh sushi prepared by award-winning Chef Youji Iwakura. Their aim was to give guests time to mingle, enjoy unique foods, and soak up the atmosphere without the usual rush.
Ornate florals, accentuated with vibrant ingredients like lychees, pomegranates, and peppers, adorned the dinner tables. Dinner was served family-style, showcasing nine delectable courses crafted by the talented team at Little Truc. Every detail was thoughtfully designed by the incredible Samara Josephine Events who brought magic and intention to every element of the day.
For dessert, they took a local approach, offering a selection of pies and a hot waffle bar for everyone to indulge in while they danced the night away. From start to finish, Vanna and Will’s day was a celebration of joy, authenticity, and impeccable taste—an experience that left every guest full, happy, and grateful to have been part of such a beautifully personal day.
